EVACUATING A PATIENT AFTER A STROKE IS NOT AN EASY TASK

Under constant shelling by artillery and MLRS, it is difficult to feel safe, but what if you are a bedridden patient who has suffered a stroke with a brain hemorrhage?

Ihor, a resident of Kharkiv, suffered a severe stroke at the age of 63 and as a result lost the ability to walk and move independently. In Kharkiv, which is under constant shelling and kamikaze attacks, it makes no sense to dream of professional medical care and timely medical procedures.

The request for evacuation of a bedridden patient from Kharkiv to Lviv was received by the PAL-UA dispatcher in the morning. The patient needed rehabilitation and medical manipulations as soon as possible. The distance of the route ahead was more than 1000 km.

The evacuation vehicle arrived at the specified address, and they had to hurry before explosions started and there were no kamikaze drones in the sky. The bedridden patient needs to be quickly transported to Lviv, where there is hope for rescue. Ihor will be delivered to the hospital anyway, because the experienced staff of the PAL-UA evacuation team is involved.

Board No. 1 of the evacuation team left at 12 pm, and the patient and his wife were placed in the vehicle. All measures were taken to ensure the safe transportation of the patient. The trip from Kharkiv passed without any incidents, with Saltivka behind them and Lviv City Neurology ahead.

PAL-UA specialists carry out evacuations without breaks and days off, in the face of enemy shelling and bad weather. Your donation to maintain the technical condition of the vehicles will help save the sick and helpless people left in the frontline areas of Ukraine.
